Stage Manager
As a Stage Manager, I coordinate stage moves, scenic, props, furniture, presenters, and talent; making sure everything and everyone is in the right place at the right time.
During setup, I take on a variety of tasks, which include managing the setup of greenrooms, backstage monitor feeds, hair and make-up stations, as well as organizing the storage of scenic elements, props, or stage furniture. I ensure that every aspect of the backstage area is prepared efficiently and meets the needs of the production team, talent, and presenters.
During rehearsals, I work closely with the Show Caller and Producer to assist in running rehearsals smoothly, often providing a detailed “stage orientation” to help presenters and talent feel confident and comfortable in the space. I am readily available to address any last-minute adjustments or requests that might arise during this critical time.
Above all, I ensure that the backstage area and stage are kept safe, organized, and tidy at all times.
