Show Caller
As a Show Caller, I am generally brought into the mix a week or so out from the event. It is my job to quickly gain an understanding of the client and producer’s vision and show flow.
From there, I create a detailed, minute-by-minute run of show that covers every aspect of the event including video, lighting, sound, talent and stage movement cues.
Generally, in concert with the Client or Producer, I run technical and presenter rehearsals to ensure all content and scripts are current and that everyone is in sync.
During the program, in addition to calling cues, I relay critical information to the crew, adjust to changes swiftly, and guide the team through any unexpected hiccups with a calm approach.
